The Eurovélo 6 Atlantic-Black Sea covers some ten countries over nearly 4,000 kilometres, following the largest European rivers, their tributaries and the neighbouring canals. As for the Voie Bleue, it is nearly 700 kilometres of waterfront itinerary, from Lyon to Luxembourg. In Saône Doubs Bresse, these two cycle routes share the same route over several kilometres and essentially use the old towpaths along the Saône.
