Sentier Saône et Doubs

Starting from the charming village of Saunières, the Saône et Doubs trail follows the banks of the Doubs and then the Saône. You'll pass close to Verdun-sur-le-Doubs, a fisherman's paradise and the capital of pôchouse, as well as the Ile du Château, a sensitive natural area. The route passes through pastureland, where horses and cattle graze.
