The Wheat and Bread Museum

Reopening date pending

In the center of old Verdun, a beautiful 18th-century mansion has opened its doors to host an exhibition dedicated to the history of wheat, a staple grain deeply rooted in our shared history, and that of bread, an essential food in our societies past and present. The reconstructions evoke memories of food preparation and preservation, as well as mealtimes.

Visit Verdun-Ciel

On your own or with a guided tour

Discover Verdun-Ciel, a charming riverside town nestled at the confluence of the Saône and Doubs rivers.

Although peaceful today, it has not always been so. And for good reason: it has been the scene of numerous invasions since Gallo-Roman times! But proud of its territory and its riches, it has withstood the test of time, even becoming a real center of river and commercial activity in the 20th century.
